Manifestation Stories We Love

Manifestation stories inspire a lot of people and are one of the most searched for topics on The Good Space. Reading and listening to manifesting stories not only teaches us how the concept works in actual life but inspires us to feel hope for our own lives.

Our Manifestation Stories

In this post, I’m sharing manifesting stories I’ve experienced, some from my team, and from podcast listeners. A few will be read in the author’s own voices, instead of mine, which will be fun. I hope hearing these stories brings you peace and inspiration.

We often manifest desires that match the emotional frequency we’re plugged into the most. As we develop a more mature awareness of this skill, we can manifest an entire range of desires, both big and small.

In fact, many times we’re co-creating with the Universe on a smaller scale without even realizing it.

For instance...

One time, Francesca was walking in Central Park with her husband, looking at the birds, and they wondered aloud if they’d ever see a Cardinal since they hadn’t before. About 5 minutes later a bright red cardinal zoomed past and landed on a tree near them.

Another time, during Francesca’s (recent) 30th birthday, she pondered about the things that appeal to her authentic, creative spirit.

She imagined how fun a polaroid camera would be and all the ways she would use it. Later that evening, she had a birthday dinner at an iconic restaurant in Central Park.

When the bill was paid, she and her family waited inside the lobby for a taxi. She saw a sign that said ‘Gift Shop’ and felt compelled to walk in. As she admired the trinkets, she saw on perfect display a polaroid camera with refills placed neatly beside it. She couldn’t help but smile because the Universe had listened.

Not in a million years would Francesca have thought something so specific would be in a restaurant gift shop the same day she pondered the desire. And yet there it was.

Ashley had a small but wonderful experience of setting an intention and then having it come to fruition in a totally unexpected way.

An avid user of The Day Designer, Ashley exclusively uses gold metallic gelly roll pens to fill out her daily list of tasks and to-do’s. She orders these pens online by the dozen so that she never runs out. Except they recently went out of stock, and she was down to her very last pen.

Somewhat cheekily, Ashley set the intention of attracting another metallic gold gelly roll pen so that she would have a backup for when her last one ran out of ink.

A few days later when she received a shipment of her favorite face oil, she opened up the small box to find both the face oil and a gold metallic gelly roll pen. The person who packaged the face oil must have inadvertently dropped the pen into the box before sending it!

Of all the possible ways to receive this very specific pen, she’d never expected this to be the route.

And while it’s only a pen, it was a profound reminder to Ashley that manifestation occurs in mysterious ways. And when we trust in the power of our intentions and get into alignment, we can simply sit back and watch things unfold.

Heather from Michigan shares a powerful way manifesting works best for her. She finds visualizing and imagining the future to be super effective in her life:

“Manifesting is a part of my daily life. Anything you would say you “practice” is an act of manifestation. I practice the piano and I have since I was five years old. I also practice the organ and practice yoga. With each of these practices I have had many successes and many failures, but each attempt is part of the process. First I can only hope to play the piece or do the posture, then little by little I get better and eventually I’ve got it.

Likewise I consider relationships a form of manifestation. I have literally willed friendships to happen, first by imagining it, then by making it so. I have a friend whom I decided would be my friend because we had these two things in common: our sons were close in age and we both listened to NPR. That friendship has blossomed and I am proud to call her my friend and so pleased when she leans on me as only friends do.

I also have a particular child with whom I had never worked harder in my life to cultivate a good relationship. Several years later and we are the closest of buddies and I know it was because of the effort I made to be there unconditionally, even when he was so difficult.”

Chantal manifested her dream job in her dream location by visualizing herself there over the course of several months. She kept a photo at her previous job that she looked at every day to visualize where she wanted to be:

“I also happened to have an interview in the MetLife building, which is connected to Grand Central, which is the first time happened to stumble across Grand Central Terminal. I felt really excited to being there not thinking more than it was stunning and I would like to be in this type of environment. Not thinking more into it. I later got a job offer to work there. I felt the energy was everything there.

As for the company, I had friends who worked there and they all love the company culture. Later, I saw that the company was ranked one of the best places to work on LinkedIn. It made me want to work there more. So I kept interviewing there. I went to their corporate office and thought, this is where I’d like to work. Every time I manifested something I felt excited about the possibility.”

Harrah, a team member for The Good Space shares her story:

“I’ve always had a really positive personality, and one of my strongest beliefs is that all of my goals can be achieved. It’s also really important to me to help other people. Two years ago, I wrote down my three biggest goals, in order of importance:

  1. To level up my career as a manager (this has been my dream since I was in college).

  2. To have a business that can sustain our needs; and be able to quit my job so I can spend more time with my family.

  3. To achieve my dream income monthly, for us to be able to pay our debts, save money and buy the things that we need and want.

I was really amazed that after two years, and even a global pandemic, I achieved all three of my goals! In March of this year, I was promoted to manager, even during a company promotion-freeze. I worked as a social media manager while I was still working my 9-5 job. In July, I reached my income goal! The biggest month for me was this November. I registered my freelance business, quit my 9-5, and launched my own coaching program! I love being able to have a freelance business; I get to work from home and even when I travel.

It’s all so amazing, I really never expected this to happen in less than one year, and even now, I still can’t believe that all these things are happening for me.”

OTHER MANIFESTATION STORIES WE LOVE

  1. Author and life coach Brooke Castillo says she thinks of manifesting as a game. She looks excitedly for how the Universe will respond to her desires in unexpected ways. Then, when those moments arrive she sends out joy and gratitude. That sense of playfulness, excitement, and gratitude led her to create $15 million dollars in her businesses.

  2. Many years ago, Ashley’s mom, Celeste, dreamed of owning a home in a specific village outside of Chicago. The town is one of the most affluent in the state and, having recently gone through divorce at the time, this seemed almost impossible. But she set the intention anyway and acted as if it had already come to be. She walked through the neighborhood regularly and visualized herself living in one of these beautiful, historic homes. Within a year of doing so, her intentions led her to people—realtors, family members, and friends—that believed in her and helped her make this dream a reality. She’s going on 21 years of living in this home and remains grateful for this awesome act of manifestation.
